I stopped listening to audiobooks way back when because I couldn't get past how awful I felt the narrators sounded. But I'm glad to say that things have changed and that includes more then on narrator. It's also a great option to trying to watch tv when you realize that there's just not anything on that you want to watch.
I have great appreciation to narrators, as they breathe life into our stories. I wholeheartedly hope you will enjoy listening to their voices during the event and make up your own mind, Lynn!
I agree, narrators do breathe life into a book (well most do). You just have to find the right narrator for your material. Going the cheapest route can cost more down the road including sales. Thank you for hosting audio book parties. We need more of these on Facebook! I love audio books!
