A Page Turner!

Born in Oakland, CA, Kathy Parsons has been an independent piano teacher since early 1981. Kathy is also a Top 1000 Reviewer. Shelived in the San Francisco Bay Area until mid-2007 when she relocated to Florence, OR (on the central Oregon Coast). She continues to teach locally and via the internet in addition to reviewing many recordings and interviewing artists for her website, MainlyPiano.com, and editing new sheet music. I am honored to find her review of my suspense thriller, Coma Confidential

"Coma Confidential" is the first in a two-part series by USA Today best-selling author Uvi Poznansky. Told in the first person, the story is a page-turner about Ash, a young woman who finds herself in a hospital with no recollection of who she is or what happened to her. Little by little, she is able to piece together her identity as well as the horrendous rape and beating that left her near-death and in a coma. The story continues to escalate as Ash again finds herself in peril at the hands of a high school “friend” who betrays her, the Russian agent who seeks a computer program Ash’s boyfriend created in high school, and the thug who almost killed her. Some of the story comes close to a level of science fiction, but it’s too similar to many things that are happening right now to discount as something that could never “really” take place. We can hope, but it’s that flirting with reality that makes this story such a compulsive read. Plot twists and suspenseful storytelling make this a book that you will have trouble putting down. I’ve read Book 2 (Virtually Lace), and am really looking forward to any additional volumes in this series!
