It is during the war when those in the resistance try to battle against the German war machine. Readers, who have read other books in this series, will remember Natasha and Lenny. If this is your first look at this author's work, know this can also be a stand-alone read. The author has a unique talent of bringing the past alive with vivid descriptions, heart touching connections, and a well told tale.
